At the start of the challenge (within the first week), time yourself doing a One Legged Stand and record the number of seconds or minutes. At the end of the challenge, do the same thing and notice if there has been any improvement.
Why? Being able to stand on one leg for over 30 seconds decreases your risk of falls along with other long term health markers like dementia and alzheimers.
Sound Bath & Meditation
Did you know sound frequencies combined with meditation can shift your brainwaves into a calmer, more meditative state?
Try setting aside 1 - 3 mins each day to sit in stillness and listen to calming sounds or music. Apps like Insight Timer and Calm offer a range of tracks and guided meditations that can help regulate your nervous system and relax your mind.
