Boda Soul Pilates Terms & Conditions

The following terms and conditions must be fully understood and accepted prior to purchasing a membership, class, or service at Boda Soul. Direct Debit & Card Fees apply to all transactions. Boda Soul is not responsible for any additional fees that occur due to failed payments. Memberships, classes, and services are non-refundable, non-extendable, and non-transferable. By purchasing any of the aforementioned, you agree to the T&C’s outlined below. 

Memberships - Auto Renew & Upfront Payments

- Memberships are billed weekly for the agreed rate and term. (Unless you are on an Upfront Membership. This is a one off payment)

- Memberships can be paused weekly for up to 8 weeks per year by emailing info@bodasoul.com. A minimum of 7 days notice is required to pause. Pauses cannot be back dated. Any further pauses beyond 8 weeks will result in a $5.00 administration fee per week. Unlimited* Black Friday Sale Memberships cannot be paused.

- 28 days notice via email is required to cancel your membership. The membership will be cancelled after 4 auto renew payments have been made from the date of cancellation. If you are on a 3 month membership, early termination will result in the remaining weeks to be paid out. If injury or illness occur, the 28 day notice period will be waived upon receipt of a medical certificate. 

- Bookings for appointments and classes can be made up to 28 days in advance via the Momence App or our website

- Credits can be used across all studio services. 1 x 45min session = 1 credit. 1 x 60-90min session = 2 credits

- Members may upgrade their membership at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately and the new rate will be applied on the next scheduled payment. Downgrades require 28 days notice and will come into effect after the notice period.

- Unused credits will roll over to the following month as long as the same membership is still active. If unused credits remain unused, they will not continue rolling over. If your membership is downgraded and you have unused credits, these credits will be void. 

- Members on our 4, 8 and 12 sessions ‘per month’ memberships, can purchase extra sessions for a discounted $20 membership rate. 

Late Cancellations/No Show for Memberships, Packs & Intro Offers Boda Soul has a fair booking policy to ensure all members of our community have access to classes. By respecting this policy, you help us protect the quality of the studio and the experience our community values. 

- An 8 hour policy applies to all standard classes and appointments. Canceling within this window will result in an automatic loss of your booking credit. Cancellations made within 2 hours prior to the start of the class/appointment will result in a $10 late cancel fee. Failure to cancel classes/appointments will result in a $20.00 no-show fee 

- Unlimited Black Friday Sale Memberships will incur a $15.00 late cancel fee and a $25.00 no-show fee.

- A 24 hour policy applies to all workshops & special events. Cancelling within this window will result in an automatic loss of your booking credit. No refunds will be provided where a monetary value has been paid. 

- Class/Appointment cancellations will only be accepted via the momence app (not the app-inbox) Please check that you receive confirmation of cancellation to ensure your class/appointment has been successfully cancelled.

Pregnant, Post Natal & Injuries 

-Pregnant, postnatal, & Injured clients must provide written doctor’s clearance prior to participating in classes at Boda Soul. 

-Our Circuit and Sweat classes are not pregnancy-safe. 

Waitlist - Opt In 

Our waitlist feature allows you the opportunity to reserve a spot in your chosen class should another client cancel their booking. 

-You will receive an SMS asking to confirm your place and have 30 minutes to respond to secure the spot before the next person on the waitlist is contacted. 

-If a cancellation occurs within a 2-hour window of the class, all members on the waitlist will be contacted, and the first person to respond and accept the spot will be booked into the class. You will receive a confirmation email if your booking has been successful. 

Studio & Class Etiquette 

-Please arrive at your class 5-10 minutes before the start time. This ensures a smooth, safe, and calm setup for your fellow members and teaching staff. 

-All devices are to be left in the waiting room. Phones will not be permitted inside the studio once class has commenced. 

-Clients who are 5 or more minutes late will not be allowed to participate in the class for safety reasons. 

-On the occasion you are late and arrive after the class has started, please be respectful of your teacher and class members. We ask that you seamlessly join the class without further interruption.

-Grip socks and towels are compulsory for all classes. These are available to purchase at reception should you forget yours. 

Infrared Sauna Etiquette 

-The sauna will be switched on and ready for use. The temperature, timer, and bluetooth speaker have been set for you. Please do not touch the control panel inside the sauna. If you have trouble connecting to the bluetooth function, your Boda Instructor will be there to help you. 

-The max temp for our 45 min sauna sessions is 65 degrees. Due to multiple uses per day, the higher temperature functions are not to be used. 

-Any make-up is to be removed with the make-up wipes provided prior to entering the sauna and placed in the bin provided. This is to ensure our towels remain in top condition. 

-Towels are placed strategically to protect the wood from sweat. Please do not sit on the wood without a towel. 

-Avoid touching or leaning against the glass part of the sauna. 

-We recommend drinking plenty of water before, during, and after your session. 

-A timer will sound, letting you know you have 5 minutes remaining. Once finished, place towels in the basket next to the sauna. Leave the sauna door open when finished.

-If you have any pre-existing medical conditions, please contact your health care professional before booking. 

Contrast Therapy Etiquette 

-The sauna and cold plunge will be switched on and ready for use. 

-A towel will be placed on the bench and below your feet to protect the wood from sweat. Do not sit or place your feet on the wood without a towel. 

-Arrive 5 minutes prior to your appointment time. As the appointment is located in our courtyard and aligns with our class times, late arrivals will not be allowed. 

-You will spend roughly 10-15 minutes in the sauna. This will be followed by a rinse-off under the shower and then approximately 60-90 seconds in the cold plunge. Repeat this process 2 more times, ensuring you are completely dry before returning to the sauna each time. 

-Once finished, leave the sauna door open and place towels in the basket next to the sauna. 

-The instructor will open the doors for you once the class has finished.

General 

- Boda Soul Pilates reserves the right to remove any individual from the studio and suspend their access if their behaviour is disrespectful toward our staff, fellow members or studio environment. Upholding these standards ensures we can all work together to maintain an equal, respectful and harmonious space. 

- Classes are not transferable to another individual and cannot be used by another person, including family members. If someone other than the person booked into the class arrives, the individual will be asked to book their session.

-Classes/services, timetables and instructors are subject to change without notice. Whilst we endeavour to deliver every service, sometimes circumstances outside of our control arise and we can no longer deliver that service. We will always strive to communicate major changes as soon as possible. 

-Booking a class and/or purchasing a membership/service at Boda Soul means you understand and acknowledge the potential risks associated with exercise & wellness. You agree and accept full responsibility whilst participating and engaging in all Boda Soul classes, workshops, and services. If you do not agree with the above terms and conditions, you should not purchase a class, membership, or service from Boda Soul.
